Welcome to Week 1

Welcome to the Floating Yoga School 3-week yoga challenge! Below you'll find this week's themed videos with suggestions on when to practice them throughout the week. (You're of course welcome to do them anytime they work for you!)

The videos are all live now; click on the class names or photos to get to them. Take some time to schedule your week and set yourself up for success. You might even make a playlist or pick some favorite music to practice with. 

My personal goal for this challenge is to rededicate time to my yoga practice both on and off my mat. Practicing yoga is when I feel most aligned to my true self and balance out all the craziness of life. I invite you to think about what you'd like to get out of these next few weeks; what's your why?

Yoga is so much more than just the poses we do on our mats. I'll be sharing meditations and pranayama practices with you during this challenge, as well as some tidbits of yogic philosophy and more traditional practices. Did you know that there are ethical guidelines for living - the Yamas and Niyamas - that are part of the 8 Limbs of Yoga? Explore the 8 Limbs in more depth via this class.
